The effects of cancer on the family

I lost my mother on 2 September 2012 when she lost her battle with leukemia.  She had ovariun cancer in 2005 and again in 2007. Being the strong woman that she was, she survived chemo and radiation therapy. But when she was diagnosed with leukemia on 16 August 2012, her body couldn't take it any more.  Seeing my mother dying was the hardest thing I could ever imagine would happen to me.  It broke my heart. The funny thing is that everyone was so focused on my mother, as well they should be, but they forgot about the pain and suffering we as a family was going through. With this blog my goal is to help the family members of cancer patients and support people who lost their loved ones. If you lost a loved one, please share your feelings and advice.
